Bunker play made easy

"I carry two wedges that I can use in bunkers - a lob-wedge and a normal sand-wedge. Which I use depends on how far I want to hit it and how quickly I want to stop it. But once I've made up my mind, the actual technique changes very little from shot to shot. I vary the amount I open the blade depending on how far I want to hit it, but other than varying the length of swing everything else stays much the same."

"I use quite a quick wrist-break at the start of the swing. I don't look at the ball, but at the point in the sand behind the ball where I want the clubhead to come down. Then I just try to hit that spot and follow through."
